Como Park /El Parque de Como (es un nombre)

We went to Como Park to see the plants and animals. Loretta really like the giraffes. Cody liked the "jungle" part of the park. / Fuimos a un parque porque quisimos ver las plantas y animales. Los girafes le gustaban a Loretta mucho. Cody se sentia en casa en la parte del parque que era selva.

Day Trip to Stillwater/ Viaje por un dia a Stillwater

To take a day to rest and escape, Seth and I walked around Stillwater for quite a while and looked at the shops and then enjoyed sitting at the river./ Para relajarnos y escapar, Seth y yo caminaba en Stillwater por un rato, sapeando en las tiendas y despues nos sentabamos al lado del rio.

Vacation at the Barringer Homestead!

Grandpa and Loretta came up from Arizona to visit, and we went up to spend some time with them. We had Dawson and Sterling jump on the trampoline while we threw water-logged balls at them. It was quite a bit of fun! We enjoyed campfires as well. The scary part of our time together was when Grandpa decided to give Loretta a ride!

ARRIBA!!

We attended a wedding at our church and met up with quite a few other ARRIBA students! What a nice surprise! We were able to call Gloria, Seth's Peruvian mom for her birthday. The picture of us three girls represents three years of living at the Huaman household.

The Youth Group!

I am just glad that no one lost an eye playing lawn darts!

Lettuce Bowl

We grew lettuce this year, and we were just amazed at how fast it grew!

Overnighter

Awhile back we had a guy's overnighter at church. This is what some of
them looked like when it was all done. I think I looked worse!

On the move....again

Yep, we are moving. It is actually pronounced "moooooooooooooooooving" when it happens in our lives. It is never quite as easy as it sounds.
We are in transit to moving (remember the correct pronunciation) closer to church. We have been living in the north metro for the past 11 months and are now moving to the south metro, only 6 minutes from church. It will be great - once we get in.
We will post about the details in the future when we can share a happy ending, but for the moment we are just moooooving.

Summer Soccer (or maybe not so much summer)

Dawson is out there running around (#37). We were sitting on the side lines - a little cold!
Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. (Philippians 3:8)
