My new calling in life

I finally found my future ministry. After helping Mr. and Mrs. Whatley move out of their apartment in Cusco, I was placed in a new and exciting avenue of ministry. Never before had I been asked to complete such a task. Never before had I been placed in such a demanding and exciting job. I had never been aware of my unique gift lying just below the surface. It was there all along. So obvious, yet so hidden. I should have seen the signs. They were right there. My whole life had been leading me to this point, in this direction. It seems to me that I need this opportunity to really see what I was meant to be. I needed to hear the calling loud and clear. I heard it, and it is still echoing in my ears. I am sure all of you who have met me knew all along, but just blushed at the thought of suggesting it to me. Do not worry. I understand that something so obvious does not need to be shouted out. I am just glad that I finally found what I was made to be. What is it? Well, after moving many boxes and pieces of furniture, I was called on to assist Ken Loveall in getting money from the bank in order to pay for the construction of a chapel at the seminary in Urubamba. My official title was "Bodyguard." I have the build, the demeaner, and even the mean, intimidating look about me. I should have seen it all along. I want to thank all of you who have helped me get to this place. All of you elementary school bullies, mean people behind the counters of fastfood restaurants, irrate drivers honking thier horns, older siblings who sat on my chest and made me recite 10 different kinds of cereals - you all made this possible for me. Thank you.

You know...I could have used a body guard while working with your senior class. But noooooo. You were one of the ones the body guard would have secured! Love you both and am praying for you and your ministry.

Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. (Philippians 3:8)
