How would you like your Sunday bulletin to start like this? I am pretty sure that they didn't write that down, but it may have been an announcement. The church that we visited while in Trujillo had this problem. Due to a dispute over a land agreement between three parties, they have had gang fights out front of the church. The land across the street from the church was titled to three different owners due to a very unstable and unorganized government years ago. Therefore, when a judge awarded the land to one party, the other two formed a treaty and hired a local gang to deal with the problem. This in turn forced the "owner" to hire his own gang. Needless to say, the gangs are not the best ones to "talk things out." Please pray for this church, Iglesia Bautista Getsemaní, where Jon Stilwell and family minister.
