The Boat Ride

Our boat ride up the river was an experience. We boarded around 2 in the afternoon, and got off sometime around 7 the next morning. We were expecting a much longer ride, but the water was up and we had relatively few stops along the way.


There are several different options for travel. By hammock or little room. We got the little room because it was easier to curl up in there than in a hammock!

When the following morning rolled around, there was a mad dash to unload the goods on the boat and sell them in the market. We just watched until it was a little less rushed, and worked our way to the church.
