God's Word is worthy to be preached!

"You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also." II Tim.2:1-2

God is good! He brought in 3 Catholics (actually, we aren't sure what they are because their church name is "Roman Catholic Pentecostal Evangelical Church of the Cross"), a Pentecostal, and a 7th Day Adventist to sit under the teaching of Pastor Evelio going through the Old Testament! A majority of the churches in this jungle region were started by Baptist missionaries years ago, but due to a lack of doctrinal training, they have slipped into a sad state of spiritual confusion. That is why this training ministry is so important!

Crystal spent an hour each day with the cooks going through basic Bible Study Methods. She did an excellent job and the ladies went away each day eager to study their Bible for themselves! One of them commented, "I am trying to learn this really well so I can teach the other ladies." Glory to God that His Word is so powerful!

Segundo Rodriguez taught a class of 22 pastors and leaders of area churches how to study their Bibles and prepare expository messages.
What an exciting sight to see so many wrapped up in the study of God's Word!
