Life on the River
We visited a family who lived on the river. They were literally "on the river." For the rainy part of the year, the river swells and fills the surrounding area, and during the dry season they farm underneath their house.
The father is also a woodcarver, shaping animals and other figurines to sell.
Norina, a photographer from the States who traveled with us, shared her testimony with the family as Crystal translated. We pray that they will visit the church we were working with, and come to know Christ as their personal Savior.

Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. (Philippians 3:8)
