We arrived back in Iquitos Saturday morning, very early. Since our flight did not leave until 8:30 that night, we had much of the day to see Iquitos, rest, and meet up with friends. We took a few hours and headed up the river to see a "zoo." Basically some guys had caught different animals in the jungle, and allowed you to play with them.

This is our group. From Left to Right - Seth, Crystal, Pablo, Pastor Evelio, Segundo Rodriguez, and our boat driver.

They are holding a turtle called a Mata Mata which lives in river. They can grow to be several times this size. (be careful where you swim!)
