From the Archives: Flying

One Sunday during our Senior year of college we decided to fly to church in Austin instead of drive the 45 minutes. Erik R., our friend from Pillsbury, owns his own plane so it wasn't too big of a deal.

On the way there Crystal got to fly for awhile, and then on the way back I did!


I am proud to admit that when I was at the controls we only lost several thousand feet of altitude, and we never hit those pesky power lines that everyone was worried about!
