Camping Trip - Man vs Storm!

The lake seemed so calm as we got everyone out on the island, little did we know that it would definitely not stay that way. We were a little concerned about the storm warnings, but we passed through those fine, without anything more than a strong breeze for 2 minutes.

The real storm hit about 1 in the morning and continued till 5:15. In the middle of the night one of the guys tents looked like this! They had a blast.

The canoes definitely got a little wet. This is the amount of water they took on underneath a heavy canopy!

The lake rose about 8 inches, anymore and we would have been floating! Our dock ended up submerged. Everyone was wet, so what does it matter?
